READY…STEADY…MAKE!

“Hackathons” became popular in the tech industry but have since expanded to various fields, fostering creativity, innovation, and community building. They provide a platform for participants to learn, network, and showcase their skills in a condensed timeframe. So much fun to participate in and incredible results in a limited time.

Our adaptation to leading “Make-A-Thons” puts the emphasis on creating business models, new services or products, whilst also igniting creativity in organisations.

How do they work?

During a Make-a-Thon, participants work on developing a project, often with a focus on solving a specific problem set by the executive team. These events can cover a wide range of themes, such as technology, social issues, business solutions, or community engagement.

Participants bring their diverse skills, including programming, marketing, bradnding, design, project management, and industry expertise, to contribute to the overall success of the project. At the end of the event, teams present their projects to a panel of “judges”, they could be project sponsors, colleagues or the entire organization!
